Please consider sending him a letter, making sure you include your full name and return address on the envelope and on the letter. 

Please remember:

• He cannot receive the letter if your name and address isn't on the envelope. 

• No stickers, glitter, or perfume on the letter

• He can only receive copies of the letters, cards, and pictures you send.

• All mail is processed through Textbehind  and will destroy all corresponds after 30 days of receipt

•  If you'd like him to receive original art or photos please send the original art or photo to his family.  Send the copy to Brendan.

• Everything that has been sent for Brendan to his family has been safely stored waiting for him to return home.

This is a  great way to send Brendan letters, cards and pictures is through a website.  You can send him letters, pictures and cards through this site. Make sure you still include your name and address on the letter you send through TextBehind as they do not give him that information when sending through the site.  You can also see the letters and cards you send him once they are processed through the company.

This is another great way to help Brendan financially.  When you make a purchase from the store all profits go directly to Brendan.

 

Sending Brendan Books or Commissary Items

 

Before sending him anything, besides a letter/card/photo, please write to Brendan and ask him if he needs or wants anything.   He will let you know.  Please keep in mind Brendan is limited on the number of Commissary/book items he can have in his possession at any given time.

When too many items are sent to Brendan, he has to refuse them and send them home at his own cost.  Once those items leave the prison, he cannot receive them again and he will not be able to enjoy what you sent.

 

Rules to Follow When Sending Books

Brendan loves getting and reading books but be sure to ask before sending.

• Brendan said it was okay to send the book

• The book is brand new from a book source; example Amazon or Barnes and Noble

• Cannot come from home, must be purchased and shipped directly through a book retailer

• No used books are allowed

• Receipt included

• No sticker books allowed

 

Center on Wrongful Convictions of Youth

 

Brendan is represented by the Center on Wrongful Convictions of Youth (CWCY), you can also help Brendan by donating to this organization. The CWCY doesn't charge Brendan for the very expensive process of fighting for his freedom, and every cent donated to the CWCY is very helpful. Their website is a great place to learn more about Wrongful Convictions, cases they have worked on, and the clients they represent and freed.
